    My first O/C

Have upped the FSB to 250mhz and RAM is currently at 500mhz (timings as per Clunk's guide 5-5-5-15). CPU@2.5ghz

Ran coretemp and TAT and my idle on coretemp is around 50 degrees, a few degrees higher on TAT.

Briefly ran blend test on Orthos and temps were going into the mid 60's which seems a tad high, but without any previous experience I don't know what acceptable ranges are. Are my temps high, and what can I do to lower the temps?

Asking for help without posting any system specs whatsoever, will activate a large boxing glove on a spring and then a trap door

    Akasa Zen
Hitachi Deskstar 320gig HDD 16mb cache
    EVGA 8800GTS 320 standard clocks

I think that's all the main bits. Haven't had any stability issues, lockups or odd behaviour as yet, though have not done any prolonged stress testing yet.

Hmm, pushed FSB up to 266, and idle temps are up to about 60 degrees.

Me not like what I see. Still no lockups or unusual behaviour though, but again, don't want to stress test for a few hours until the temps are down to 60 under load.

    Re: My first O/C

Your temps temps seem a little high. My e4300 at 3.06 is at 43c (340 FSB) under normal load with an AC7
