    Replacement monitor cables

Hello, right this is an odd one, or, not

I need a replacement monitor cable for a modern-ish monitor.

Ive had this monitor for ages that is basically fine, arpart from the cable. Its fubared.

    15Pin VGA connector, to 3(RGB) + 5([2 ground + White + Yellow + Orange]control?) + 2 earth.

Does anybody know where I can get a replacement cable, or has anybody got a knackered monitor thats got a decent cable, but knackered tube - who wouldnt mind sending me the cable?

    Thanks for any help,

    THCi.

I'd quite like a 2nd one as my monitor supports dual switching and PIP. Although have been keeping my eye out for a while and not seen any!

Is it hardwired into the monitor ?

If its the screw in type one, Ebuyer have em for about 3 quid. I also have a spare one you could borrow.

No, its on blocks on the monitors PCB.

Should be an easy job to get a new cable and splice it on. Plyers and stanley knife jobbie methinks.
