    Question corsair hx520w help!!

    Hi, i am getting the corsair hx520w PSU as well as the Antec nine hundred case. all 4 of the fans on that case are 4 pin molex, alot of people said that you could plug the fans straight into the psu. However i looked at some review, and the cables that come with the psu are the following;
    Permanently connected:

    * 19" cable for main 20+4-pin ATX connector
    * 19" cable for 4x12V EPS12V
    * 19" cable for 2x12V AUX12V

    Detachable:

    * 2 x 21" cable for 6-pin PCIe connector
    * 2 x 31" cable with three 4-pin IDE drive connectors
    * 1 x 16" cable with two 4-pin IDE drive connectors
    * 6" 4-pin IDE to two 12V only 4-pin IDE connectors
    * 6" 4-pin IDE to two floppy drive power connectors
    * 2 x 25" cables with two SATA drive connectors

    can someone tell me which cable can connect to the 4 pin molex connector on the fans, and whether i will have enough connectors for 5 molex connection fans?????

    Re: corsair hx520w help!!

    My HX520 had a 1 Molex - 2 molex adaptor in which said 'fan only' on it, but that would account for only two of your fans. I guess if you've got SATA drives, you'll have plenty spare molex plugs...

    You can also daisy chain the Fan connectors together,

    Exactly badass! Confirm that. Did that on my P182 with three bundled case fans + installed one more additional fan. No reason for concern pompalomp, just stick one end of a fan connector into the top of another et voila, you have two fans ready for one molex.

    Iv got the antec 900(lovely case) and iv got 3 of the fans daisy chained together on the CD drive in the top shelf, it keeps them tucked away & more or less out of sight of the window.

    My problem is the eSATA(?? - the long thin flat one, as opposed to the molex) connecters on the HDD, i didnt check when i bought them. I presumed that they'd all have the molex connectors but when they arrived i found they didnt, bit gutted now as iv had 2 use 2 power leads when just the 1 would have done(had i bought molex powered HDDs).

    What is the use of the eSATA(the thin black power connectors) over the molex ones anyway, why do we need a newer form of plug when the old ones was fine?
