off top of me head can't remember what skt they were, just d/l everest and that'll tell you what skt type is, taken from wiki......Subsequent revisions to the processor by Intel engineers were expected to reduce average temperatures, but this never happened outside of the lowest speed grades. Prescott Pentium 4s were given the product codes 80546 (Socket 478) and 80547 (LGA775).

you can get an arctic cooling freezer 4. that is what i amusing to cool mine
If you have an early Prescott then it will be a Socket 478 but most likely it will be a Socket 775. Download and run the excellent (and very small file) CPU-Z tool (freeware). It will tell you your motherboard and CPU make plus lots of other info.
My recommendations:
Scythe Mine
Scythe Ninja
Tuniq Tower 120
The top two are compatible with both sockets so you can't go wrong with either. They are quite HUGE so check compatibility with case and mobo configuration.

Try this. I use it in my HTPC on a P4 3Ghz s478 and it cools well and is very quiet.

For £5.19 you can't go wrong.
