Gaming Keyboard

Hi,

I am looking for a decent gaming keyboard and would like to hear some of your experiences with ones currently on the market.

Has anyone used any of these that could comment?
Raptor Gaming K1
Razer Tarantula
SteelSeries 6G

Also are there any other keyboards that you would recommend?

Haven't used any of the above, but the Logitech G15 is great (or G11 if you don't fancy the screen)

Agreed about the G15, it's a bit of a dust magnet though...

tarrantula is awesome, bit pricy though.

I have one myself and the only thing letting it down is the lack of battle light availablility!

As with all razer products the build quality, drivers and support are second to none.

The replaceable keys are awesome

Does anywhere have the updated version of the G15 (the one with orange backlight and integrated rather than flip screen)?

As far as I can tell only the old bllue version seems to be available.

ive just got a G11 and its very nice - pretty much the g15 but without the stupid screen and thus cheaper

with you on that, great keyboard, only downside would be the bright pink blacklight luckily there is still the blue or red to pick instead

yes this is true, no details around as yet but there is going to be G15 V2 (guessing on the name there)

well, I have the first generation Eclipse, but it's equally a great keyboard.

Thanks for all your input guys.

Ive never really liked logitech products but the upcoming G15 V2 does look pretty good.
Had a look at the Saitek Eclipse II and it looks promising, especially the price tag, will keep this one in mind.
I know there is a keyboard forthcoming from SteelSeries and so think I will put off upgrading for a while and decide when the G15 V2 and SteelSeries' next flavour is released.

tottally agree, the keyboard i want but 70-80 is abit excessive tbh

and about the saiteks, i have had the first and now on the eclipse II, i think the light is too dim, theres no hotkeys except for a couple music ones and nothing really special about it
