    Re: Nice keyboard :-)

Logitech G15 also for me at the moment while on the PC, but I also use a Cherry USB (white) when on the 360 and somebody MSN messages me.

I want a keyboard with backlights that can be changed to a variety of colours. Hopefully they should appear sooner than later but until then I'll keep what I've got.

Oh yes you can. When it gets so bad you can see the crap on a black keyboard you know it's really nasty. My G15 spacebar has turned an unpleasant shade of mucky gray.

    Re: Nice keyboard :-)

Oh I wish I had my camera at work...

My black cherry keyboard is actually a murky grey colour due to the build up of dirt and dead skin cells all on the keys.

Give me a laptop-style keyboard any day, with slim (almost silent) keys. I like the idea of having an integrated touchpad, allowing me to move the cursor using my keyboard (like you can with a laptop).
Laptops are rubbish for long typing sessions. And touchpad? *gag*.. a desktop isn't a laptop for crying out loud, they're actually usable.

    Re: Nice keyboard :-)

aidanjt, I wasn't talking about the layout of a laptop keyboard, just the keys (being shallow and unclicky). A touchpad would be useful if you were using this keyboard wirelessly (as part of a media centre PC in a lounge/front room).

That's what I'm using atm at work, it's comfortable, quiet (except when you get the urge to tap a rythm out on the metal edging) and doesn't look too bad either

Saying that, I did want to get a Saitek Eclipse when I finally got my new PC, though it was going to be this one

    Re: Nice keyboard :-)

Is the backlight on that Saitek keyboard really changeable to a blue colour ??

Just thought the purple looks really girly but if it is changeable to blue or red it would be great!

Anyone got a pic of it in blue or red pls??

I've got mine but I need to get it changed, as the 'P' key doesn't always work for some reason.

Love the keyboard though, has survived many a LAN
