Question:
I bought a new PC the other day. Plugged it all up, it works fine using 2x SATA HDD's and 1x SATA DVD. But it keeps saying 'IDE not detected press F1 to continue' you press F1 and it starts fine.
There is an option on the bios to stop it from asking you to press F1 and continue anyway. But I was hoping someone knows how to stop it looking for IDE devices? I turned off the 'eSATA & PATA controller' in the bios and have played with a lot of the settings with no joy.
Anyone had the same problem?
Setup is:
Asus P5K Premium
Q6600 G0
4x1024 ballistix PC8500
8800 Ultra
2x 400GB SATA drives
1x DVD drive.
Think they are plugged into ports 4,5,6 at the moment... need to find some cables that allow me to use the other ports, bloody GPU covers them!!
Many Thanks!
