X38 boards - possible UK prices

    Asus boards

Asus Maximus Formula Special Edition - £180.10 inc. VAT (£190.19 inc. VAT @ MoreComputers)

    http://www.lambda-tek.com/components...prodID=1431517

    Asus P5E3 DEL/WIFI-AP - £194.06 inc. VAT (£202.10 inc. VAT @ MoreComputers)

    http://www.lambda-tek.com/components...?prodID=B86166

Asus P5E WS PRO - £162.17 inc. VAT (£169.48 inc. VAT @ MoreComputers)

    http://www.lambda-tek.com/components...prodID=1431498

    Gigabyte boards

Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 - £149.31 inc. VAT (cheapest I have found in UK, rest are around £180 mark) (£153.09 inc. VAT @ MoreComputers)

    http://www.lambda-tek.com/components...?prodID=B86285

    Gigabyte GA-X38-DS5 - £136.34 inc. VAT (£139.79 inc. VAT @ MoreComputers)

    http://www.lambda-tek.com/components...?prodID=B86283

Looking at MoreComputers the prices are around the same and the Asus P5E3 DEL/WIFI-AP does seem to be more expensive than the Asus Maximus Formula Special Edition.

It'll be interesting to see what the DDR2 version of the Asus P5E3 Deluxe comes in at - and when it comes in. I read it'd be about a month after the P5E3 launch.

iirc that DS5 is slightly cut down though?
if not that's a pretty good price.

P35 does me nicely enough (unless there is a significant performance/overclocking boost)
