    Silent 8600GT in a Sugo?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if putting a silent 8600GT in a Silverstone Sugo would work, normally I wouldn't bother with it because noise isn't a large issue but at scan, where I'm buying everything from, theres a 512Mb Silent Gigabyte for the same price as some active 8600's.
    The Sugo: Here

    The 8600: Here

So what do we think, would it be safe temperature wise in there? I'm not gunna be OC'ing anything and I'm going to be putting a C2D 4400 in it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Karl

PS: The reason I'm looking at the 512Mb is because the person using the PC is going to be using photoshop and possibly CAD in the future.

If you aren't playing games i'd go with the gainward 8500GT silentFX
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=615614

In an airy case that sits at 45 degrees idle for me so in a sugo i'm sure the temps would be tolerable.

There is a 8600 version also but I couldn't vouch for tempreatures.

Re: Silent 8600GT in a Sugo?

The 512MB card has the slower DDR2 memory rather than DDR3. Unless you are driving a huge screen then the 256MB DDR3 card would be a lot better (and even then I wouldn't guarantee the 512MB card would be faster).

The Sugo looks like it's got a fair number of holes for cooling, and if you're not filling up all the PCI slots then you could always fit an extractor fan in one.
