What motherboard with no SLI or Crossfire

I currently have a Abit Quad GT whch is great but thinking of upgrading when the new intel chips come out. November time so I hear.

The Quad GT is also a bit overkill for what i need as A I don't own or plan on owning an ATI card so corssfire is pointless and I only ave enough money to spend on 1 card so SLI or Crossfire is useless feature to me.

I was thinking of Abit IP35 Express but not sure what new X38 boards offer not sure if they offer non-SLI or Crossfire plus DDR3 is useless and too expensive right now.

However i will be looking for a decent overclocker.

    Thanks

Re: What motherboard with no SLI or Crossfire

The main point of X38 over P35 is the extra PCI-E lanes for CF/SLi.

Saying that, with X38 so close to release it would be worth waiting to see the reviews that will hit soon plus see is P35 prices fall. Both P35 and X38 boards can come in DDR2, DDR3 or DDR2 and DDR3 ....I have no idea who is going to release what at this time though

The ABit IP35 range or Asus P5K range are both great overclockers (normally better depending on the price you pay =/ )
