Is my ram to slow ?

It's supposed to be pc6400 800 mhz ones, not 400mhz ? Or am I looking at the wrong thing

Your looking at it right ie its saying what it is. Its to do with your mainboard (motherboard) i think you have to manually override the motherboard default (safe) settings in the BIOS to do 800mhz also has something to do with the CPU that your using but i think its proberly the motherboard, you should have a descitpiton of the ram settings your ram is like for example

800mhz at *.* volts etc

Can someone else explain this please ive had a few drinks and cant explain it properly lol..

Hmm, yea please explain how I should do this. I got a P5k motherboard and Crucial Ballistix PC6400 800mhz ram.

Edit; my cpu is a e6850 duel core.

CPU-Z shows the ram speed at half its rated speed due to the DOUBLE DATA REFRESH RATE or DDR-2
