Spec my mate a gaming PC

Well my best mate wants to build himself a new gaming PC next month, he has a max of £570 to spend. He's flexible on the type of CPU (Intel or AMD)

He's looking to buy from scan.

He doesn't need any hard drives or optical drives (that I know of anyway) I do know his current 200 gig is sata so that should be fine.

I know he definatly wants an 8800 GTS and 2 gig of ram, guys, do your worst, I used to be good at this sort of thing but I've lost touch with all these new CPU's and so on (hell I'm showing my age now lol)

He's basically said he wants to be anle to play games like Crysis without even having to worry about not having enough power.

Intel E6750 £117 (today only this weekend)
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=673735

2GB Geil pc6400 RAM £50 delivered (overclockers ..too cheap to pass up imo)
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-058-GL

    Abit IP35 £80

    Corsair 520W HX Whisper £63
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/produ...oductID=446788

I would have the scythe ninja though at £10 more.

    Antec P182 £80

    Arctic cooler freezer £15
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=340995

    comes to £575 approx

Change the case if you want something cheaper.

This can be found cheaper i think but saves £10

Thanks matey should have said he doesn't need a new case or a PSU, that £570 is meant to also include the gfx card.

IP-35 is fine then.. i've used one in a build and its a lovely board..it will do big overclocks anyway. Q6600 @ 3.4 should be a breeze for it.
