    Question This is fun!

    I'm trying to install a USB ADSL modem based on the access runner chipset by conexant.

    I think I'm compiling a kernel right now, lol.

    Anyway, anybody ever got one working? I've never managed it.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Yeah, but the trouble is THIS modem is slightly different to the standard access runner, lol.

    Also, I'm using PPPoATM - just to make things more fun.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    That will take quite a while. Just configuring the PPPo takes enough time as it is :O

    I tried to get my conexant based pci adsl modem working on Red Hat a few times.. seriously couldn't get my head round it, though. I managed to get PPPoATM working, just not the modem. Good luck, chap... if you get it done - write a tutorial!

    dgr - yes, it is, as I've discovered.

    I'm whacking kernel 2.6 on now - got bored of messing with the modem - will mess with it under 2.6 I think.
