what to do with my memory

Hey guys, just by looking at DDR2 prices right now it looks like a great time to sell up my 2x1gb cellshock and go with 4x1gb sticks of crucial ballistix.

is it worth it do you think? i am running xp and will get vista 64 bit after SP1 is released.

and for now xp will at least read 3.25gb

    cheers

    pie

Yes it is the best time as RAM prices will get lower soon, I've heard due lower sales than expected for Vista users.

6400 all the way if you ask me. The price difference it's worth the hassle if you're overclocking

well i know those 5300 will do pc2 8000 speeds. which is why i am not sure if going with the pc2 6400 is worth the extra £5
