Dual Output on PCI gfx card

I found a rather old Sapphire Radeon 9250 which Sapphire claims can display.."Dual integrated display controllers to drive two displays simultaneously with independent resolutions and refresh rates."

It has 1 DVI output and 1 VGA output plus Video Out. When trying this before it only displayed 1 monitor at a time, the DVI being the default output (if i remember correctly). I was wondering how you go about setting up dual screens to realisticallty run at 1680x1050 with such an old card like this? Is it possible?

    Many thanks in advance.

Re: Dual Output on PCI gfx card

It will be possible, plug them both in and power up the computer, settings tab of display and tick "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor". Performance wise it'll suck, especially at those resolutions. Expect slowdown in 2d stuff I think.
