    q6600 (B3) at 3.4Ghz?

    just overclocked my B3 stepping q6600 to 3.4 ghz

    current temps are 39-40 at idle
    and 65ish on core 0 and 1 and 61 on core 2 and 3 at idle.


    does this sound good? cos i was quite chuffed cos im only on air.

    A is it stable, B whats your v-core, C are you using coretemp for the temps.

    ye its stable using p95 as a benchmarking agent.

    lowest cpu voltage i got it stable at is 1.4125 set in bios. AI suite says cpu voltage is 1.376 volts

    yes coretemp is being used

    i was only running one cos it looks like it stresses all cores to 100%.

    shall i run 4 instances of and assign one to each core?

    No, if its the latest prime95, it runs 4 threads automatically.
