Question with regards to my ASUS P5K Deluxe

so you can save your RAID configuration in case you need to reset the BIOS? What happens if you want to recreate this raid do you have to blank the drives to start again?

Also on a separate issue now, i can't change any of the settings in my BIOS, if i do and then reboot the machine as you do,nothing appears on screen....any ideas?

No, once you go into the RAID settings, it remembers you have an array and you can exit out without saving and go back to the normal bios and then set the boot priority.

Does anyone have any idea why i can't enter any settings in my bios now i have reset it. Even if i enter the correct date and time the system won't boot. All i get is a blank screen. no video or beeps or anything. I then have the Clear the bios again to get it to do anything. Does this mean i have a faulty board and i need to get it replaced?

Battery might be dodgy? Does it keep settings after you turn the PC off?

i dnt no i can't get it to boot after i have entered any settings the only way it will boot is if i enter setup defaults. I've check battery it seems ok.

Strange, maybe try updating the bios.

I've already tried upgrading the bios and downgrading it again as that didn't work im currently on 0404.

Any other ideas?
