    Be-Quiet! Dark Power Pro

    Anyone use these PSU's?

Some of the reviews I have read make them out to be very stable PSU's and they look great.

Problem is, half the time reviews never match up to end user experiences. Hence me asking.

    Thanks

I would be hesitant about buying this. Jonny's review was only average and looking around i could only find limited suppliers.

Price was around £69, for that you could get a Corsair HX 520 or a Silverstone Strider ST56F. More reputable and well known PSU manufacturer's.

What is the rest of your system, it help to see the rest of your components.

Yes but Jonny's testing was limited, as it was 220v unit and some of the gear he had to test the PSU didn't support that input.

The review of the 750 version at Techpowerup seemed to do very well. I might go for the HX620.

    System will be:
    E6600
    2x1GB Crucial 10th Anniversay
    Asus P5K Deluxe
    8800GTX
    Dual watercooling loop.

I'd agree, looking at your rig the Corsair would certainly do the job. At least there is more choice in suppliers and therefore availability.

Gigabyte has a good looking PSU coming out soon!

The Gigabyte Odin, but looks a tad gimmicky with Software controlled fans and rail stability reading.

It's hard with PSU's as half of them are just rebranded OEM power supplies - wonder if Gigabyte use their own electronics.

Looking forward to PCP&C PSU's hitting Europe via OCZ distribution channels.

    Re: Gigabyte ODIN power supply

I was looking around Hexus.net to see if they have reviewed the Gigabyte ODIN PSU.

Apparently Gigabyte has released two types of ODIN, the GT and Pro.
GT comes with the control software, it seems a bit gimmicky, but will it do what is says it will do!
Can you really control your PSU!!! Even your Voltage !!!

Pro is the same unit, but without the software control.

Just interested if anyone has actually purchased one yet and tested it

I have heard some good things about it, but I have not seen one as yet.

Come on Hexus - get a review on it
