    Upgrading

I want to upgrade my PC but I only really have money for one upgrade. Here is the basic spec. What would you say is best to upgrade for playing games.

    Intel Core2Duo E6600
    2GB 667 Hz DDR2 Memory
    300 GB Hard Drive
    Nvidia 7900GT Graphics
    Soundblaster X-Fi Music Card

Graphics card, but it might be better saving for a more elaborate upgrade at a later date, that machine will still handle most modern games fine.

    Re: Upgrading

Right now, I would advise waiting until after the November product releases from Intel and potentially from nVidia. Your current kit is fairly good still, with the graphics card being my first suggestion as to what to upgrade. You may also wish to consider a newer and faster hard drive, perhaps even a raid array.

    Re: Upgrading

...........you might want to protect your investment by checking that you haven't got a crappy PSU, that could be a good upgrade.
