Question How can i push my cpu overclock further?

    Hi there,
I have my e4300 overclocked to 3.2ghz but I'd like to see if I can push it further because I've seen many articles where they get it to 3.4ghz with ease. When I clock it to 3.4ghz the computer doesn't even get to windows, and at 3.3ghz it gets to windows but is unstable.

At my current clock my temps are 45c idle, 49 load on the system, and 30c idle and 39 load on the cpu. This is the highest they get though, usually when the room is warm. But when the room is cooler they are much lower than that. So my temps seem fine (I think) so what do i have to do to get my clock further. Oh and my RAM is 2GB OCZ platinum @ 890mhz 4-4-4-15.

Put your RAM to 1:1, that is almost certainly what is stopping you going higher.

Do you have water cooling? Those are some low temps.

no, I'm on air, I've got quite a good air flow in my case and I have an after market cooler on my cpu which is the asus arctic square.

I tried setting the RAM to a 2.00x multiplier and that didn't work, however raising the voltages did, what is a safe everyday use max voltage, the cpu voltage is now at 1.51, is that ok or is it too high?
