    Creative Gigaworks T40's

    Hi,

Anyone got a set of the Gigaworks T40 2.0 speakers? Looking at getting a new pair of speakers (moving from very cheap £25 5.1 setup that I only use 2 speakers of anyway) and read very good praise about the T20's.

For about 20 quid extra I found the T40's online but cant find any reviews of them anywhere as they are still fairly new. Just wondering if anyone had a set and could let me know what they thought

    Cheers!

I've read the review on VR-Zone, but it seems to have been taken out, I haven't been able to find it. They were disappointed by T40s, mainly because the lack of difference between them and the T20s. I think Steve of these forums has T20s, he's more than happy

    Re: Creative Gigaworks T40's

I have the T20's and think they're great (though not so great at low volumes). Plus it's nice not to have all the wires and clutter of the 5 or 6 speaker setups.

So, the T40's should be at least as good and probably better :-)

    Re: Creative Gigaworks T40's

I almost got the T20's but scan did a special offer on some 2.1's and couldn't resist.

I'd still like a set though they are very nice speakers indeed.

Personally wouldn't bother with the T40's.

    Re: Creative Gigaworks T40's

I must say I was skeptical cause of the lack of a sub-woofer, but they really dont need it, and sound so much better than most 2.1 Systems!

    Re: Creative Gigaworks T40's

Keep us informed please Sandman. I'm in the same boat right now, I've currently got a 5.1 Creative Megaworks set but the clutter is too much for me so I'm looking to take them out and put a 2.0 set in.

I'm just trying to decide between the T20's and T40's now. Truth be told, the T20's would probably do me but who can resist the latest greatest these days eh?
