    Very very impressed

What can I say; yesterday when I took my SN85 out of its box, I was really pleased. You certainly get your money's worth (now just £200!), with the organisation inside the case of the cables particularly impressing me.

I also found the installation guide very useful. I followed the instructions and it was surprisingly straight forward to build the PC. I think it deffinitely helps to do stages in the right order, mainly so you can get to bits!

Shuttle even supply a cloth to polish the case - how's that for attention to detail

So yeah, I'm dead impressed. Recommended to everyone

Yup, i dont see much need for anything more than a shuttle for me any more. Gone are the days of huge ally server cases watercooling mahoosive heatsinks and 10 gigawatt PSU's. Now i am happy with speed, stability, compactness, looks, and low price.

At the low end you got the SN45G/Barton 2500 for £135/£60 (instant XP3200) at the high end you got the SN85G4/A64-3200/3400 which on average is faster than any other AMD/Intel system. What on earth more can you want? (apart from 6 hard disks in raid5)

Any chance that software would work with a Crucial 9800 Pro?

AFAIK tyan have added extra features to the actual PCB in able to get the advance monitoring of temperatures, fan speeds, voltages, clock speeds, etc.

    So i doubt it.

Could go to tyan.com and try tho....

I think the EPoX MiniMe (latest one) looks very good inside compared to the shuttle, and the cabling is for sure superior

    What about Asus Radeon 9800XT/TVD?

I was thinking of building a SN85G4 with a Asus Radeon 9800XT/TVD. This has full monitoring and control over the fans.

    Any issues? Anyone done this?
