Recomend me a sound card

Looking for something good but cheap for my media PC.
Basicly what I plan to do is get a sound card with optical in and rather than spend £200 on speakers for my TV I plan to hook up my Creative Megaworks to that PC and then have the 360 / PS2 connect into the sound card via a optical in connection.
Good idea? Im thinking I could save a lot of cash and then for my PC ill just use my headphones .
Must have Dolby Digital passthrough so I can get 5.1 from the 360.

Any good?, as I say the main thing I want it for is for 5.1 pass through from my 360, anything else is a bonus.

Weird :s, anyhow, does the 360 do the dolby decoding or does it rely on the speakers / sound card?

I am not sure you can do it with this card. I was thinking about the same but no description that I found mentions it can decode surround from digital input. Actually no decoding was mentioned at all.

A friend of mine is using X-Fi Platinum card with Xbox360 and that works fine. But that is PCI and not PCI Express that you linked to, and it might be pricier
