    Quick compatability question!!??

    I am going to get an Abit IP35E to replace the dreaded(and non-working) DFI iCFX3200 motherboard I currently have!! Is Geil PC6400 and PC5300 Value DDR2 memory compatible with this motherboard.I do not intend to overclock the memory in any way. I also assume that the HX520W PSU will present no problems.

    The Geil works, the one thing I have noticed with IP35E installs though, is that if your using an Arctic Freezer, it will need modifying as it fouls the chipset heatsink.

    I am using a Spire cooler which seems similiar to the Intel stock cooler but runs cooler since it has a larger fan - I assume this would be OK??

    I would guess so, the Arctic Freezer has a very bulky base. The stock cooler has a lot of clearance.
