Cant decide on a mobo + cooler, choose for me!
Hey guys
Been helping a mate out with a quick replacement for his pc.
We've decided on an e6750, have RAM and we just need a mobo + cooler
I cant decide between the abit, asus and gigabyte (gigabyte just seemed to confuse me with all its ds#R/r/o OMG)
Anywho -
Abit board:

Asus:

Gigabyte:

£100~ for a mobo is how much we are looking at, best performance possible. Not looking at SLI or crossfire. Will be looking at OC'ing too.
As for the cooler - Something priced about £20~. We were going with the Arctic Freezer 7, but did consider a tuniq tower.
With regards to a gigabyte board I don't know which one would be best so feel free to suggest any of the others scan sell. Thanks :D
Re: Cant decide on a mobo + cooler, choose for me!
The Gigabyte that probably compares closet to the IP35/P5K-E is the P35-DS3P.
Any of the 3 should be good.

So it would suffice just to choose the cheapest one then? :D
Re: Cant decide on a mobo + cooler, choose for me!
Out of the IP35, P35-DS3P & P5K-E if it has the features that you need then, yes.
Re: Cant decide on a mobo + cooler, choose for me!
Personally if you dont need all the features and you just want a board with the basics then I would go with the GA-P35-DS3R. Overclocks like a beast, has quality components and none of the fancy/useless cr@p of the more expensive boards. It's the one I'll be getting shortly.
I would have recommend an Abit IP35-E or IP35 but I've had two duds sent to me in a row by different suppliers so I'm a bit dubious about their quality control now; also their bios support is some what patchy.
