    £400 for system.

Hi all, just looking for a bit of advice. I've not specced up a PC for a bit and was wondering what you thought of the following.

    Any suggestions?

Hard Drive 250gb western digi caviar
    Memory 2 x 1gb Corsair Twin X XMS2
Graphics Card 256mg 8600 XFX GT
    CPU Core 2 Duo 2.2 ghz E4500

Could anyone suggest a half decent mother board/psu to go with that?

Would muchly appreciate any advice or help!

    Many thanks

    Ash

    Re: £400 for system.

Abit IP-35 (or the E version if you want to save another £15) - E version doesn't support RAID.

    I'd have this PSU

or this if you want modular

i wouldn't go much cheaper than that on the PSU but you can get FSP's, tagans which are alright for a bit less

unless you are desperate for DX10 support the last DX9 cards are much better for the money.

    this sort of thing

    or the 7900GS.
    very cheap here

    E4600 is £2 more than the E4500
