ECS P965T-A memory voltage ????
I am looking to get some new gaming memory it is the
OCZ 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800Mhz/PC2-6400 Memory CL4 Unbuffered ATI Certfified Dual Channel Kit
from
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/118298
But the voltage is 2.1 to 2.3 i was just wondering if my mobo supports that voltage if not what voltage does it support?
I have the latest bios installed but dont know what to do from there as far as checking memory voltage?
Cheers Chris
Re: ECS P965T-A memory voltage ????
You should be able to look in your BIOS and see your memory voltage options. Read your boards manual, that should point you in the right direction. I'd be suprised if it didnt support those voltages, they're nothing out of the ordinary,
EDIT: Had a quick look around, as this is a very budget board, according to this article there are no DIMM votlage options
http://www.sysopt.com/features/mboar...2027_3642766_3
However, that review was done on the initial BIOS release. Later versions possibly added voltage options. The easiest way to find out is for you to look yourself.

If you can't set the right voltage the computer might not boot at all.

If you go to crucial's website they match memory to motherboard....might give you an idea on voltages.
