I have a friend that is looking to build a new PC after his one has just went bang. He is looking at a Q6600 and a 8800GTX with 4Gbs of ram. His budget is around the 1k mark (though he was looking at a 1.4k rig). He needs everything. I would try and spec it out myself, but I know that some of you enjoy this game. :)
Everything being montior, keyboards etc..
or just the everything in the base unit?
GTX + a montior worthy of it is quite a stretch at that budget. Do-able but a stretch.
