Asus p5k-e cable help

Hi,

I am getting the Asus p5k-e wifi ap as part of my new gaming rig.
For cd/dvd drives i am getting a Samsung DVD-RW
and a Samsung Lighscribe DVD-Rom

Both are OEM and both are SATA. So my question is, will i need to buy another cable for one of them,
(if so, where from) or does the p5k-e come with enough.

I would imagine it comes with one for every sata port. My last 3 mobo's have.

My P5K-E came with two sata cables. One right angled cable and one normal cable.

shouldn't worry, my p5k-c came with 4 leads for the 4 sata ports. 2 straight and 2 90° leads. normally will be supplied with number of leads for said number of ports.

So, just so i'm clear, do optical drives which use Sata connections, use the same cables used to connect hard drives?

Right, looks like i am going to have to buy a few more sata cables, do need 2 sata power cables, and 2 sata data cables for 2 extra optical drives?

Depends how many your powersupply has in the first place.

Some only have two.. some have 6 or more. What PSU are you getting?

My P5K-E came with only two

The HX520 comes with 6 Sata power connectors as far as i remember.
