Game rig required for MS FS X

Hello everyone,

Would someone please tell me what rig I need to play MS FS-X on maximum settings please.

I know this may be a gaming question, but is mostly a hardware question; and is anyone playing this game on maximum settings, completely without stutter etc.

The new range of quad cores, 4gb RAM and the 8800GTX's successor in SLi may just about manage...

A lot of us are working on it.....! My QC6600 and 8800GTS is not enough, although the 8800GTX doesn't produce significantly better results AFAIK.

It'll be interesting when Accelerate and the DX10 update arrives to see if it helps (or makes it worse).

Does it not KungPo? I thought gaming at 1680x1050 and above, it would help a fair bit?

Ye Gods fellas!! what depressing news, and here I was thinking that the new gear available would be able to crack it. So much for thought goddamn it!

It's just too intensive. Looking at other forums, the perfect rig just doesn't exist (yet).

You can get fairly good results with an 8800 GTS/X, but you'll still not be able to max it out.

Bit of a bugger really, and when you can get powerful enough hardware, the next version will be out.
