    question on heat

i recently added another 500gb samsung to my system, i now have about 4 of them and i noticed a big jump this time in temp readings, before it sat idle at about 30 but now its upto 37, on a hot day it goes upto 42, now i wanted to ask wot would serve me best as an upgrade to get it back down, a new cpu fan? new PSU? more fans?

    this is what i have.

    256Mb EVGA Nvidia GF7800GT CO
    Asus A8N-SLi Premium NF4 S939
    Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower
    AMD Opteron 170, 2.0GHz
AKASA 120mm Amber series 3pin Ultra quiet case fan
    antec 350w psu
    antec case think its p180
    4 x hd`s 3 samsung 500 1 x samsung 250.

wots best to buy to get this temp down?

    Re: question on heat

Where are these hard drives? Top or Bottom cage?

Add an extra fan in front of any sitting in the top cage?

I used a sharkoon 1000 on mine, as silent as the antec fans and quite a good amount of air.

there already a big fan in the front of the tower, i wondered about those hard drive coolers whether they would make much difference.

ok a cheaper method is fold a piece of paper to form a fan
open pc case and wave paper near hard drives
