Re: Another one of these threads
Are you overclocking it? If so you could do with a meatier heat sink.
Re: Another one of these threads
160g hard disk.............Bit mean, I'm filling up my 250gig one fast.
Re: Another one of these threads
Only light overclocking
CPU@3Ghz
Re: Another one of these threads
Fair enough, I'll probably get 250gb, seagate barracuda has 16mb cache:)

Re: Another one of these threads
Thanks, looks pretty good and will let me get a bigger hard without passing £700:)
Re: Another one of these threads
Experience with microdirect?
Re: Another one of these threads
And views on the P5KC as thinking of getting this.
Re: Another one of these threads
Few personal preference's of mine would be.
Corsair VX 450w PSU or thoroughly recommend the 520 HX (£60ish though)
I really would get a modular PSU in that case. Makes thing's a lot easier having done 3 builds with them now. One with my OCZ gameXstream and two with the corsair HX..was a lot neater and easier to work with the HX.. plus it's noticably quieter.
The scythe ninja. £10 or so more than the Freezer Pro, but the freezer is quite noisey in the Antec P182 I find (have tried it)
Deffinatly the geil RAM from above. It's great stuff and a bargain price.
All these are just my preferences which lean towards quiet/silent PC's, if it's not an issue all your choices are fine.

Well scan are one of the best and you can talk to them at Hexus with any problems, but sometimes some components are on special offer elsewhere and.......................

Re: Another one of these threads
Cheers Staffsmike
Question, does the corsair have 2 PCI-E connectors?
Re: Another one of these threads
excalibur2,
think I will go with scan, time to start posting!
Re: Another one of these threads
It does indeed. Comes with 2x 6 pin connectors which have an extra 2 pins sort of joined on the end so you have 2 x 8 or 6 pin in effect.
