GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 & GA-P35 DS3R settings please?

Hi

Having a bit of trouble with this combination this evening.
Specs say they are 4-4-4-12 @ 800 but i am having trouble getting the system stable with these settings. I have followed the instructions included settings the ram to 2.1v.
Have tried lots of things, upping and lowering the voltages a little etc. Can only get them stable at stock fsb settings and cas 5-5-5-18.
4GB, 2 x GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC).

Was hoping to run these at 8x400 for 3.2ghz too. Tried these settings with various combos of voltage on the ram, fsb, and NB but orthos only runs for 30mins. Temps are no problem either according to TAT. (40 on full load).

Anyone else with this combination have any help or tips for me?

Could maybe be a faulty stick? I know it's a pain but try each one in turn (on it's own) with Memtest.

HUH My Geil is at 1.9v but they are rated to go to 2.3v, same as this:-

I ran memtest all afternoon as soon as they arrived and no errors were found (5 passes on all 4 gb sticks together).

I can run them okay at 400 now but there's no way i can reach the latencies they are advertised to reach.

5-5-5-18 is the best i can achieve at 400. Oh well, i have managed to oc my cpu to 3.2 anyway with those 'relaxed' settings.

Oh well, 3.2ghz is still what i wanted on air so no biggie.

when time allows i will memtest each stick separately anyway (btw the sticker on my sticks stated 2.1v for 4-4-4-12)
