    Right memory speed?

What the best RAM speed to buy for the following config?

    AMD x2 4000+
    Abit AN-M2HD

I can get 2gb of 533mhz for £22. I was originally going for 667mhz, but these 533 modules came up at a good price.

Its for my HTPC upgrade, so no overclocking at all. Whats best?

    Re: Right memory speed?

getting the same mobo soon. I'm using pc6400 (800mhz). I have no idea what's best but that's what's rated best for X2's by scan so it's good enough for me.

Not that i'll be buying the RAM from they (get different ram scan!! )

Thats scans only weakness, RAM selection! I got mine from the for sale board here. In fact I got the whole system, mobo, cpu and ram from here
