remember that old thread where i was asking is it good to upgrade to a new pc well me and my dad did an upgrade and we got a:

MOBO: asrock 4coredual-sata2
MEM: Geil 2gb ddr2 800mhz
CPU: intel E6300 OC'ed to 2.04ghz cant go higher mobo really crap
COOLER: artic cooling freezer pro 7 cpu at idle=42c load=48c
GFX: old but good gainward golden sample 7800GS+ (7900 gs core) OC'ed fro 450/625 to 525/725

we got the mobo so we can keep the old 7800GS+ which is now still not the bottleneck in most games, the bottleneck is the AGP interface

3DMARK06: 5000 good for a 1.5 year old AGP GFX 0xAA
CRYSIS: low-med at 1024x768 30fps 0xAA
SEGA RALLY: high 1680x1050 30 fps 4xAA
GEARS OF WAR: med-high 1280x800 30fps 0xAA

im happy with it just not happy with the mobo but we might upgrade again by christmas
