Long shot: anyone used the Razer Lachesis Banshee?

Im torn between these two mice. The latter is a newer version thats not yet been released.

I love the MS intellimouse 3 like a lot of people. Was by far the best mouse I have used for me.
The Deathadder seems to be a clone of this, just a bit more updated.
The Lachesis seems to be the same design, but with the curved buttons.

I'm not too worried about the DPI stuff, it always seemed very marketing based to me anyway.

Anyone want to offer an opinion?

    Cheers

the deathadder is much like the MS Habu. If you're anywhere near a PC World pop in and find the "gaming" Packard Bells. They have habu's on them so you can get an idea about how they feel.. Personally I was going to get one until I used it.. my fingers were hurting after a few minutes of use so thought better of it.

Razer Copperhead is very nice though

The death adder is nicer but its quite wide and chunky compared to the copperhead, and yes I have tried them both for a while and the copperhead imo is better.

Do you know if its any wider than the Inteli V3?
That's perfect for me and would like it as close as possible

Re: Long shot: anyone used the Razer Lachesis Banshee?

have a word with the guys at razerblueprints or have a browse round the forums.

    http://razerblueprints.net/index.php...9&topic=6658.0

The link compares sizes between the Cpperhead and the Adder.

Dosent seem to be much diff in comparison to the Deathadder apart from DPI and on board memory.

As staffsmike has said hand size makes a considerable diff in comfort. I have the Deathadder, had it for about 6 months and it suits me perfectly.
    Intellimouse dimensions for comparison

Mouse Length 5.20 inches (132 millimeters)
Mouse Width 2.72 inches (69 millimeters)
    Mouse Depth/Height 1.68 inches (43 millimeters)
Mouse Weight 5.75 ounces (163 grams)
Mouse Cable Length 72 inches (183 centimeters)

    Razer Lachesis =
    Approximate size: 129mm (length) x 71mm (width) x 40mm (height)
    Space in my skull

Sorry for the late reply. The Inteli V3 is that 'really old' ball mouse isnt it? Juging by pics it looks about the same size, so there you go...

Oh I see, well I would say the death adder is a wee bit wider than that, we have a few at school.

Aye thats until the left mouse button breaks on the copperhead under warranty - then you find out how 'good' the customer service is.....

...still got 6 months of the 2 years to go and I'm now thinking I may not have enough warranty left byt he time they decice to let me send it back for repair / replacement!

Now that the Lachesis is available for purchase, can anyone update this thread with some real experiences?

Also, what's the cheapest price that anyone has seen this at? I need a new mouse, and I'm very tempted, but it is expensive!

I'm going mad. I really want to see 2 side by side in a shop somewhere. Certainly considering the costs of them.
