    RAID Mobo Swap

Well im saying goodbye to my Via chipped s939 mobo and hello to an AMD chipped AM2. what i need to know is will i have to start from scratch when i swap the board over with my RAID0 array or will it work on the new board as is.

    thanking you!

    ooof, tough question

As a rule, you can often get away with changing chipsets to another one from the same manufacturer, but changing manufacturer normally means you will need to rebuild the array.

    Re: RAID Mobo Swap

the raid array is controller via software - your changing the chip that software interacts with.

I'd expect you to suffer without an install
    It is Inevitable.....
