    Subwoofer+external I/O console=damage?

    hello,

I have an X-fi Elite pro soundcard, and a 5.1 surround sound system. Due to limited space, I sit my external I/O console (for soundcard) on top of the Creative G500 subwoofer (very powerful). Whilst playing on 'World in Conflict', and feeling the floor shake, I thought that maybe it wouldn't be such a great idea to sit the panel on top of the subwoofer.

What do you guys think, could it cause any damage to the panel/console?

    Thanks!

The vibration is probably not a good thing for the console, and more importantly I would worry about how well electronically/magnetically shielded the subwoofer and console are.

Why can't home electronics manufacturers provide proper datasheets? Grr...

I have seen a number of car amps fail when screwed to sub boxes, so I'm with Rosa in thinking it's a bad idea.

OK, thanks guys. I moved it ASAP. Is there any way I can check for damage?
