    Re: cheap soundcard

What Google won't necessarily tell you is that Creative's Vista Audigy drivers (and to an extent the XFIs too) are, to put it kindly, 92% excrement extract. Last time I tried them (around a month ago, in Vista x64) they wouldn't let me select anything other than 2.1 sound. Such a basic function that I dread to think what they're like underneath.

    Re: cheap soundcard

I use the card in Vista 64 and (after scrabbling around) I enabled 5:1 sound for music. Only played the Crysis demo which works fine, not sure if it is 5:1 or not though.

    Re: cheap soundcard

Glad someone made this topic; I was wondering if that card works in Vista 32-bit. The only difference is I only need it for 2.1 sound, so I guess it'll work fien for me. But are there any other issues this card and Vista have (bad sound, etc.)?
