    HS Problem

I'm putting a Scythe Ninja on a Abit IP35-E with lots of difficulty. Currently got the thermal paste on the CPU and trying to click the four HS legs onto the motherboard. My first problem is that the fan on the side of the HS can either go above the RAM, northbridge or southbridge or alternatively right next to the case fan (P182). None of them are ideal as the fan is well above the base of the HS and there's not enough room for it above the RAM, north/south. Secondly I cant click the four legs onto the motherboard. Whenever I try they don't go in and they tend to get bent back as a result.

Really struggling here with the lack of room in the case.

    Re: HS Problem

Take the motherboard out first, then mount the heatsink, and try to get the fan in place somewhere where it wont get in the road, then drop it back in.

    Re: HS Problem

still cant get the HS in, the plastic bits just wont stay in and i'm already using a lot of force trying to get them in. the outside white bits go in bit the middle black bit doesn't and its really starting to annoy me now.

Make sure the arrows on the top of the black clips are pointing out when you push them into place like this..
