I have two of the older SATA 74GB WD Raptors in my current (failing) system. If I buy new components (mobo, CPU, RAM, etc) then would these drives still be reasonably fast or would they be a bottleneck? I'd like to be able to reuse them to keep costs down.
They're still silly fast. Mine are still humming away just fine.
