    Question High Temps ??

    Hey All ,

I noticed today, that the bios on my comp (one in sig) has a PC Health Status section. So I checked it out and it says the CPU Temp is 103 oF & the System Temp is 89 oF, this sounds very high, Is this a normal type temp .. Considering all the fans etc in the case ? The CPU Fan speed is 4821 rpm & NB speed is 6192 rpm. Although those rpm's are from the bios, so don't know how accurate they are.

    Cheers, Dave.

    Ha its alright for some,

Wish I was getting temps like that....

    I’m getting Temps of
    Board Temperature : 28.7°C / 74.7°F
    CPU Temperature : 62.8°C / 123.4°F

This sounds a tad High for a 1.2Ghz???
    What do the People think?

I've only started looking at the temp as i think this mite be why my pc keeps crashing recently,
with a constant beep sound from the speakers.

Yeah that doesn't look too good! Though technically CPU's can last up to 90ºC before the glue starts to melt (in Athlons at least,) but that doesn't account for stability.
