    Cheap motherboard for overclocking

    Can anyone recommend a cheap motherboard for a Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 chip that will also overclock well.

    Looking at the Abit IP-35E, is this a good overclocker or is there anything cheaper thats good also?

    Also of the budget graphics cards which is the best? ATI or Nvidia?

    the IP35-E is a very oc good mobo for the price.

    Either the ATI 2400 or the same priced Nvidia, which is better?

    Would be better if you gave us an actual budget price to work to, but generally speaking the 2400 can't play games but is very good at hi def movie decode.

    Is 47 quid too much?

    IP35E is a great board for the money, just be cautious that the northbridge heatsink is quite fat and your heatsink/fan choice may need replacing/modifying.

    For instance, Arctic Freezer Pro 7 needs a corner cut out of the fan assembly.

    8400GS is a bit better then 2600 Pro but don't get one with a fan.
