Epson R360 - Draft print quality?
Hi,
Got a Epson R360 the other week and already had to change the black and almost red. It's running out far too quickly.
Can anyone tell me how to set draft print quality? I can see standard in the Picbridge menu, but that's about it?
Dont really wanna be forking out £100's in replacing the cartridge each week.
Thanks all.
Darren
Re: Epson R360 - Draft print quality?
should be in print setup.
Where are you printing from? what application? Usually goto File-->Print (or CTRL+P) and the Properties or something. I'm not 100% sure because i don't actually have a printer on this computer.
Re: Epson R360 - Draft print quality?
In the menu of the R360 i've found Best quality and Standard but wondered if there was a draft setting?
Re: Epson R360 - Draft print quality?
It should be in with the Windows-style printer settings, as opposed to the software that came with the printer-- which is probably designed to take up as much ink as possible so you buy more carts.
You'll have to have a snoop, maybe check out the control panel?
What application are you printing from? MS word, Internet Explorer?

It's Word and Excel, but it's on OSX not Windows.

In which case i'm not sure...
I'm guessing it's in some sort of Print options area. Check the "file" part, right click (or "CTRL-Click" or whatever you crazy Mac people do these days) somewhere, on something.
Maybe make a new topic with more info about your OS.
I think it's more about setting it up through your application, and not through Epsoms own software (avoid at all costs)
