    Case Advice

Bought a new motherboard, new cpu, new psu, new ram ...

Motherboard is too big to fit into case. It protrudes too far upwards towards the PSU by an inch.

Could do with finishing this project sharpish as due back from leave anytime.

Motherboard is an Abit IP35. Any ideas of cases which it will fit in. I'm after something with a little bit extra. Not just the ebuyer value crap.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Re: Case Advice

What case do you have :S

It will fit in anything that is ATX size.

I would look at the antec P182 thats a great case.

Akasa Eclipse/Mirage is pretty huge, very nice to work with.. also has a removable motherboard tray.

Some dodgey HP case. Got a mate of mine round to fix it all up had everything out then he takes the motherboard out of the bag and starts laughing hysterically.

I wonder whats so funny then i see him trying force the thing in. Don't think i'll live this down.

    Re: Case Advice

    Lol unluckly.

There's a case to fit most budgets. The above are around £80.

You can get decent cases to £50 or £200 ..

    Just remember ATX not uATX

    CoolerMaster Stacker, awesome case

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

    Re: Case Advice

    Heh thanks.

Is the Antec 900 any good? Looks quite mean, I don't think the girlfirend will like it so it may keep her off it. Sods law states that after 1 hour of me being away the computer it broken.
