    Shuttle upgrade thoughts

I've recently aquired a ST20G5 shuttle with an A64 3500+ chip. Im going to be using it as a HTPC but im wanting it to be able to handle HD content. A the moment, im just using the onboard graphics which is fine for everyday use, but its a little slow when outputting HD content.

Would it be best to change the chip to something like an X2 4200+ or put in a new graphics card capable of handling HD content?

    The shuttle is skt939 btw.

If you pop in one of the 2400/2600 ati cards then they'll take the load off the cpu and sort out your high def for you.
