    Need an AM2 cpu bracket

Hi hope some one can help.

Having just got home I turn on my PC and it turns it self back of, try several times before opening it up. To my horror my Artic cooling freezer 64 is sitting on my 7900GT and the lug on the cpu bracket is broken.

I've quickly looked on scan but can not find a new bracket and the previous thread suggested one from the USA.

My motherboard is an Asus M2N-E. If anybody can find me a link to one I would be greatful.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Re: Need an AM2 cpu bracket

Just as an update for anybody else that finds them self in the same position I picked up one of these

Kustom PCs Thermalright AM2 Rev B Retention Module

it has three lugs both sides and works a treat.

Hope this helps others who find that the standard AM2 bracket breaks.

Re: Need an AM2 cpu bracket

    Ho hum - thread revivalage...

The curse of the Freezer 64 strikes again (mine's a pro). It just destroyed the retention bracket on my AM2CPU board.

Going to replace it with a 3 pronged retention bracket like the 939 ones (a thermalright). Why so many AM2 brackets only have one is beyond me...
