Question Best Media-chassis that takes ATX PSU ?

I'm about to build a media PC (again), now that tthere are HDCP gfx cards out, and Bluray/HD drives are dropping in price.

But I'm still stumped on what case to buy.

last time I bought an silverstone LC-17, but that was way too big.
    This is what I'm after:

    - uses ATX PSU
    - slim as possible
    - room for 1 x 5-1/4" drive (not slim-line drive)
    - verticle PCI/PCI-E card slots - half-size or full, but no horizontal ones requiring a riser card
    - looks good

Closest I've seen is the LC-11, but I'm not sure that takes an ATX PSU. All the ATX PSU cases are quite big, or have riser cards.

    Anyone seen or have anything?

The LC11 is only 96cm tall, and that's not big enough for an ATX PSU. I assume there is a particular reason you want an ATX PSU?

The Fusion is massive, I mean it's really huge! If you are after small look for a hiper media case, not a standard ATX PSU though.

I own a PC that changes regularly, so I don't bother putting anything in here...

Re: Best Media-chassis that takes ATX PSU ?

I think calling the Fusion massive is a little over the top. It isn't tiny at 26litres, but it does the job intended for it.

I tried putting my old Gigabyte 6600GT passive cooled video card into my Fusion, and you can't get the lid back on because of the heatpipe that goes over the top of the PCB. That shows there isn't *any* spare space vertically in the case. If you want a case that is not as tall, you need riser cards or half height cards and lose flexibility.
