Ok firstly you havn't bothered to note us of your system spec and motherboard make/model. How the hell can we help with the current standing information greatly consisting of the atomic mass of sweet F all.
Leave the poor thick c**t alone. He can't help it.
Take it easy peeps :)
If you give us the system spec we will be more able to help you. So for starters motherboard manufacturer and model.
When you say "it won't flash the raid bios" what do you mean specifically? Do you mean that when you boot the machine that the raid array does not come up on the boot screen after the POST?
kv2 lite
amd 3700+ 64 cpu
1gb ram
and yes that is what i am saying
You don't normally 'flash' the bios on start up - that is a specific procedure to replace the BIOS on the computer.
If you mean you aren't getting anything on thge screen after you switch it on, there are a number of things it could be.
Do you get any beeps from the computer speaker after you have switched it on? Do you get any screen indications at all?
First off advice is to check that the memory and graphics card are all inserted correctly in the sockets, and all power supply leads are conneted properly.
More details on the system - full specs and what you did to it between it working and not working would help - we don't read minds! :)
Is this a particular problem? What I mean is, does this cause the PC to have problems or is it simply something you noticed on the rebuild and thought, "mmn that didn't do that before. I'd like it back the way it was."?
I have a similar thing on with my motherboard whereby I can skip the raid/controller check after the PC posts. So I suspect there is an option in your BIOS to set this. I'm not familiar with your motherboard so it's probably best if you have a look in your motherboard manual which can be read (or downloaded) here.
The flux capacitor is conflicting with the bios mate. If you reset it to zero it may solve your problem. However if that doesnt work you could try the ngene switch. Sorts all my problems.
