    help with overclocking

    hey guys have a pc here for my friend and i need help with how to set the bios up for an overclock as i am a noob as regards to this.

    intel q6600 go
    artic flow 7 cooler
    2 gb dominator pc 8500
    abit i38x quad gt mobo
    500watt psu
    msi 8800gt 512

    Re: help with overclocking

    Do they really need an overclock? I suspect the graphics card will be what holds them back most of the time. Although you can overclock that too if you didn't mind risking possible damage.

    As for the CPU, if you do decide to do it, there are loads of guides here you can check out. Stuff like this:
